Responses I received concerning August 5.

First Happy Birthday to all of our class mates with August birthdays and there are quite a few! Then there are those of us who are months older or a few months younger!

Ron Ketchum reports that his daughters will be in Littleton with him on August 5 so he won't be able to come to Pueblo.. but two years ago we could not even find Ron.

Marlene: Thank you so much for keeping all of informed. You are so right most all of us have turned 70 or will be 70 sometime this year. I sure wish I could attend your get together but I will not be able to attend. I will be in Pueblo in July to help Nick celebrate his 70th, Hope all of you have a great time. I did get the other message ok & went to the new site to look around. Thank You for staying in touch.
Nice idea about getting together,it won't be possible for me to attend on Aug.5th that is my birthday. Some of my brothers & sisters will be here then to help me celebrate, the big "70". Have fun!!! Maybe next time.

Marlene,
That sound wonderful but we are going to be at our daughters the following week in New York City. She turned 40 in May and I turn 70 on the 23rd of August. We are going to celebrate with a Mom and Daughter day at a Spa.
Wish we could be there to celebrate with the high school gang. Thanks to Jeri Lou and Don for stepping up and doing this.
Maybe we can see each other in 2009. We are celebrating our 50th in August up in Central City where we had our one day honeymoon! We've rented a lodge up there and the whole family will spend a week in the mountains. Our girls have been there but not their husbands or kids. Not sure if we will be in Pueblo during that time--plans are still in the formation stage. I'll keep in though.

Hi, Moosh!! I hope everything is going well with you and yours!! We won't be able to make it on the 5th. Sandy still works, you know, and my cousin, Ron Drobnick ('57) will be stopping here along their road trip that week. Anyway-y-y-y-y, say hi to everyone for me and have a good one!!

2008 Gathering

I can give rides down to Pueblo and back to Denver if our schedules coincide.  I intend to leave Denver (1117 South Milwaukee Street) around noon on Monday and return on Wednesday leaving Pueblo around noon. OK...We are biting the bullet and saying that Tues the 5Th of Aug...meet our house at 11:00AM and we will decide whether the Park or our house. To get there...Beulah Hwy (Northern Ave) 22 miles. At the fork turn left on Pine Drive 2and 1/2 miles turn left on Ula Trail...5Th House on the left...Every one bring what you want to eat and drink...so start calling and e-mailing other classmates who would want to come...Don and Jeri
